On the nose it has an immediate sweet smell with a lot of apple and peach coming through. Upon my second approach I also caught some vanilla and oak hidden in the sweet aroma. One the palate it’s immediately spicy and pepper, with the taste of rye forward, and finishes with a cinnamon - oakey burn

HAND BARREL OLD FASHIONED

INGREDIENTS

½ tsp Sugar

Orange Peel (Luxardo Cherry optional)

3 dashes of Orange bitters

1 tsp water

2 oz Hand Barrel Bourbon

Add the ½ tsp of sugar, 3 dashes of angostura bitters and water to the Rocks glass, stir until the sugar is dissolved. Add Ice, and 2 oz of Hand Barrel Bourbon. Express the oil of the orange peel over the glass, Drop in, stir and enjoy!
